With a live presentation known for remarkable pyrotechnic special effects, Rammstein has built a touring rep in Europe that’s so solid that the band hasn’t had much time to play North America during the past ten years. Rammstein performed in New York, Montreal and Mexico City last December and conducted a short swing through Canada and the U.S. in Spring 2011. Now the band is prepping to rock your local sports arena. That is, as long as your town is listed on the routing.

The Live Nation-promoted tour has the band blazing its way across North America beginning in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at the BankAtlantic Center April 20. Other stops include Tampa, Fla., at the St. Pete Times Forum April 21; Atlanta’s Philips Arena April 23; Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center April 26; Chicago at Allstate Arena May 4; Vancouver, British Columbia, at Rogers Arena May 13; Anaheim’s Honda Center May 17; Dallas at American Airlines Center May 22; and Houston’s Toyota Center May 25.

Of course there’s an album to go with the tour. Rammstein will release its first retrospective collection – Made In Germany 1995-2011 – on Dec. 13.

Ticket sales begin Friday. Visit Rammstein.com for more information.
