Synergy In Sanctuary5B
Sanctuary5B Entertainment has formed a partnership with John Reese’s Synergy Global Entertainment and expects to produce a variety of tours and festivals.
Sanctuary5B is the recent merger of management companies Sanctuary and 5B, run by Carl Stubner and Cory Brennan. Both companies are under the Universal Music Group umbrella but are now guided by Live Nation and Irving Azoff. John Reese founded Freeze Artist Management, produced the Curiosa Festival with Robert Smith of the Cure and is the former tour manager for Guns N’ Roses. He’s also the founder of I AM Recordings and signed Slipknot, The Cure, Glassjaw and others.
“The opportunity to work closely with Cory and Carl is something I have imagined for a long time, and now it is a reality,” Reese said. “We collectively have a very broad base of experience that will allow us to have laser focus on developing and creating new entertainment ventures.”
Synergy produces The Identity Festival, Rockstar Taste of Chaos, Jagermeister Music Tours, Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and Rockstar Uproar Festival, among others. Its 2012 festival lineup is expected to include six to eight festivals performing more than 250 dates over 20 countries.
Sanctuary5B’s roster includes Slipknot, Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top, Danzig, India.Arie, As I Lay Dying and Velvet Revolver.
