Celebrating Sting’s 25 years as a post-Police solo artist, the “Back To Bass” tour features the artist performing stripped-down versions of his hits while accompanied by a band featuring guitarists Dominic Miller and Rufus Miller, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, electric fiddler Peter Tickell, and vocalist Jo Lawry.

Of course, there’s a new album coinciding with the tour. In this case it’s the box set Sting: 25 Years which chronicles his solo career.

The U.K./Europe journey launches in the United Kingdom at Gateshead’s The Sage Feb. 5. Other destinations include Amsterdam, Netherlands, at Heineken Music Hall Feb. 7; Stockholm, Sweden, at Waterfront Congress Centre Feb. 12; Warsaw at Sala Kongresowa Feb. 15; the Prague Congress Center in the Czech Republic Feb. 18; Vienna, Austria, at Gasometer Feb. 19; Grenoble, France, at Summum Feb. 21; Frankfurt, Germany, at Jahrhunderthalle Feb. 29; Brussels, Belgium, at Cirque Royal March 4-5 and Paris at Zenith Paris March 13.
