Utopia’s Klingman Dies

Mark “Moogy” Klingman, 61, longtime keyboardist for Utopia, died of cancer Nov. 15.

Todd Rundgren re-formed Utopia earlier this year for a one-off show to benefit Klingman.

He played with the Peaceniks this summer.

Klingman, who played on several Rundgren and Utopia albums, co-wrote “(You’ve Got To Have) Friends,” which appeared on Bette Midler’s debut, The Divine Miss M.
