Coldplay’s Early Christmas Present

Headlining the “Under 1 Roof” benefit scheduled for Dec. 10 at the O2 – London, Coldplay tops a lineup that includes Tinie Tempah, Scottish R&B artist Emeli Sandé, actor/comedian Rob Brydon and comic actor Steve Coogan who will be appearing in the guise of his Alan Partridge character. Proceeds from the evening will benefit London-based Kids Company which works with children and young people in poverty-stricken areas of London.

“Coldplay’s continuing support is fantastic,” Kids Company founder/CEO Camila Batmanghelidjh said in a statement. “They have already provided funds to help thousands of children who have suffered violence and neglect. How amazing that they are now being joined by other generous friends for Under 1 Roof, to establish what we hope will become a regular event, generating vital support for many more children in the years to come.”
