Arrest In Reno Shooting

Reno, Nev., police detectives arrested a suspect in the June 26 shooting death of a rapper outside the Knitting Factory Concert House after a concert.

Detectives arrested and booked 21-year-old Alfredo Labrado Nov. 23 into the Washoe County Jail on a murder charge stemming from the death of 32-year-old Michael Jones. U.S. Marshals located Labrado in Redwood City, Calif., according to KRXI-TV.

Jones had performed at the Knitting Factory just before Tech N9ne took the stage June 26. A fight between the performer and a group of men outside the venue led to Jones being shot multiple times. He died two weeks later from his injuries, the TV station said.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
