Young The Giant returns to the road Feb. 10 at Soma in San Diego. So far, the last stop on the tour is almost two full months later when the band rolls into Salt Lake City to rock The Venue April 3.  Walk The Moon and Grouplove appear on select dates.

Let’s talk about the venue changes. The Chicago gig at the Metro scheduled for Feb. 23 has been moved to the Riviera Theatre; Detroit’s Feb. 28 show at the Magic Stick will now take place at The Majestic; Toronto at Phoenix Concert Hall March 1 moves to Sound Academy; Ottawa at the Ritual Nightclub has been upgraded to The Bronson Centre and Houston at Fitzgerald’s has been bumped up to the Warehouse Live.

The band also announced second nights in Phoenix (Crescent Ballroom Feb. 17) and Austin (Stubb’s BBQ / Waller Creek Amphitheatre).

What’s behind the Young The Giant success story? Lots of hard work is the short answer. The band has been extremely active during the past two years, increasing its reputation as a perpetual touring machine. Having two hit singles – “My Body” and “Cough Syrup” – are big pluses as well.
