Justice Coming To U.S.

Justice has announced its first U.S. headline dates in over two years as part of a 2012 world tour that will also take the French electronic duo to Australia, Japan and Europe.

The duo is touring in support of its second studio album, Audio, Video, Disco, released in October as the follow-up to 2007’s †.

After closing out the year with a Dec. 31 performance at “Summadayze” in Adelaide, Australia, Justice’s 2012 tour begins with a Jan .1 set at “Field Day” in Sydney, Australia.

The group is giving away a trip to see the band perform in Sydney. For a chance to win, fans need to upload a video cover version of a tune from the new album to Justice’s official YouTube Channel and Google+ page. The contest is open until Dec. 10 and the winner will be announced Dec. 17.

Justice also has Australian shows in Perth (Jan. 3) and West Melbourne (Jan. 6).

The Japan dates take place right after that with stops in Osaka (Jan. 10) and Tokyo (Jan. 11-12).

European dates begin Jan. 27 in Clermont Ferrand, France, at La Cooperative de Mai and run through a March 5 gig in Brussels, Belgium, at Ancienne Belgique. Stops include the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.

The U.S. leg of the tour begins with two shows at New York City’s Terminal 5 March 16-17.

Justice will also play Boston’s House Of Blues March 19; Philadelphia’s Electric Factory March 20; Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club March 21; Atlanta’s The Tabernacle March 22; Oakland, Calif., at Fox Theater April 17; Las Vegas’ The Cosmopolitan April 19; Portland, Ore., at the Roseland Theater April 24; and Seattle’s Paramount Theatre April 25.
