Another Last Night For Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Once the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is done (for this year) bringing holiday cheer to fans across the U.S. and Canada with its 2011 winter tour, TSO will hit the road in early 2012 for another edition of “Beethoven’s Last Night” Tour.

As the name implies, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s 2000 concept album is all about Ludwig van Beethoven’s (fictional) last night of his life. The dramatic rock opera features Beethoven’s struggle with the devil over his soul, his life’s work and his tenth symphony (which was never actually completed).

An announcement from TSO notes that the 2012 tour will be fans’ last chance to see the group perform Beethoven’s Last Night before the release of their new album and accompanying tour in 2013.
