Police Seek Blues Fest Cash

Duluth, Minn., police are investigating the report of a missing cash deposit for the city’s Bayfront Blues Festival that took place in August.

A police spokesman told the Duluth News Tribune that festival organizer Chris Mackey reported one of 40 deposits made for the event was missing Sept. 6 after a CPA’s audit. The bank had no record of a $26,000 deposit that was supposed to be made Aug. 14.

Police have no suspects and the investigation is ongoing, the paper said.
