Coldplay’s Warm Weather Plans
With most tickets going up before Christmas, the band is giving you an opportunity to give the Coldplay fan in your life the best gift they’ll receive this holiday season. Of course, if that No. 1 fan is you, then you might have to adjust your budget to determine who you will stiff in order to see Chris Martin & Co. Yes, life is full of twists, turns and tradeoffs.
The tour begins in Edmonton, Alberta, at Rexall Place April 17; plays Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome April 19 and Vancouver at Rogers Arena April 20.
The first U.S. date on the routing is Portland, Ore., at the Rose Garden Arena April 24. Seattle’s KeyArena is scheduled for April 25 and San Jose’s HP Pavilion will host the band April 27.
So far there is only one city scheduled for May – Los Angeles where Coldplay takes over the Hollywood Bowl May 1-2.
Other stops on the arena tour include Dallas (June 22); Miami (June 29); Atlanta (July 2); Toronto (July 23); Boston (July 29); East Rutherford, N.J. (Aug. 3); Chicago (Aug. 7) and St. Paul, Minn. (Aug. 11).
An American Express cardholders’ presale begins Dec. 12 and runs through Dec. 16. The general onsale for all shows except Los Angeles begins Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Los Angeles goes on sale Jan. 9. Visit Coldplay.com for more information.
