As lead singer / chief composer for bachata band Aventura, Anthony “Romeo” Santos was part of one of the most successful tours last spring, an outing that included sold-out gigs at NYC’s Madison Square Garden and put the band on the same ticket-selling level as Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi. Now The Bronx-born performer will headline under his own name with a series of dates beginning on the East Coast and stretching across the U.S.

Riding the success of his first solo album – Formula Vol. 1 – Santos begins the journey with a sold out Madison Square Garden gig Feb. 11. A second MSG concert has been added for Feb. 23 with a presale launching today.

Other stops include Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena March 1; Orlando at the Amway Center March 2; Atlanta’s Philips Arena March 4; Boston at the Agganis Arena March 7; Fairfax, Va., at the Patriot Center March 9; Houston’s Toyota Center March 15; Los Angeles at the Staples Center March 21; Glendale, Ariz., at the Jobing.com Arena March 23; San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center March 24 and Las Vegas at the Joint @ the Hard Rock Hotel / Casino March 25.
