Foster The People Announce 2012 U.S. Tour

Foster The People have already starting filling up the group’s 2012 calendar with shows in Asia, Australia and Europe. Now U.S. fans have their own, newly announced spring/early summer tour.

The Los Angeles-based indie pop band, which was featured on the cover of Pollstar magazine in September, is touring in support of its debut Torches. The album was released in May on Startime/Columbia and features the singles “Pumped Up Kicks,” “Helena Beat,” “Don’t Stop (Color On The Walls)” and “Call It What You Want.” Torches is up for a Grammy Award for best alternative music album and “Pumped Up Kicks” earned a Grammy nod for best pop duo/group performance.
