R. Kelly’s Love Letter To Fans

R. Kelly is headed to the Bahamas next year on the Carnival Cruise Line “Destiny” and he wants his fans to come along for the fun.

The takes its name from the singer’s 10th studio album. Love Letter, which was released in December 2010, earned a Grammy nomination for best R&B album. The album’s eighth track, “Radio Message,” is nominated for best traditional R&B vocal performance.

The five-day cruise, which is organized by Concerts Cruise, departs Miami Oct. 1 and sets sail for Grand Turk Island; Half Moon Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. The cruise returns to Miami Oct. 6.

R. Kelly will perform two shows in addition to performances by other guest artists. The additional acts will be announced 90 days before the cruise.

The cruise will also feature late night deck parties, comedy shows, karaoke, casino gambling, a fitness center, a movie screening, ping pong, salsa lessons, a fashion show and modeling contest, and basketball tournaments.

The Love Letter Cruise is booking rooms now. Prices range from an upper balcony room at $1,499 per person to an empress grand suite at $2,999 per person. These prices, which do not include fees and taxes, are based on two people per cabin.
