Odds & Ends – Justin Bieber, Neal Schon and Haunted By Heroes

Justin Bieber will treat Toronto to a charity gig this week, Journey’s Neal Schon is reportedly threatening legal action against a website for posting a photo of his manhood, and the band Haunted By Heroes reminds us why you’re never too young to rock.

A Very Bieber Christmas

Justin Bieber will perform an acoustic set of songs from his Under The Mistletoe album as well as a few other holiday classics Wednesday night at Toronto’s Massey Hall. Tickets went on sale during the weekend and sold out as fast as they could sell them with proceeds benefiting his “Believe” charity.

But that doesn’t mean Bieber is going to leave fans that couldn’t score tickets totally out in the cold. The concert will be recorded for his “Home For The Holidays” TV special which airs the following night on MuchMusic and CTV. Both outlets will rerun the broadcast on select days through early January.

What Neal Schon Doesn’t Want You To See

Journey guitarist Neal Schon isn’t exactly happy that a website might have posted a photo of the rocker’s penis.

TMZ reports that Schon’s attorney “fired off a blistering letter to TheDirty.com” late last week demanding it de-schlong itself of Schon’s manhood.

Apparently the photo taken during one of those bathroom moments when he evidently had nothing better to do. Quoting the attorney, TMZ says the photo was “stolen from an old cell phone.”

You’re Never Too Young …

To rock, that is. Just ask the 11-year-old members of Haunted By Heroes. Described in media reports as “the world’s youngest rock band,” the group doesn’t seem to have any problem getting high-profile bookings.

But youth and talent aren’t the only things in Haunted By Heroes’ corner. The band’s debut single, “Rock Me Roxy” was produced by Sylvia Massy (Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, Prince).

Haunted By Heroes also has a few choice gigs coming up, including an appearance on NBC’s “Today” Jan. 4 that will include vids of the group playing the along with other West Coast venues.

The band will appear at the National Association of Music Merchant’s annual convention at the Anaheim Convention Center Jan. 19 and will wrap up the NAMM weekend with a gig at Hollywood’s famed Whiskey A Go Go Jan. 21.
