Gentleman, whose real name is Tilmann Otto, isn’t exactly a newcomer to the music world. Having already released six albums in Europe, Gentleman has received several Best National Artists awards and has collaborated with artists ranging from Pink to Destiny’s Child to Michael Franti. While his American debut album, Diversity, doesn’t land in U.S. stores until Feb. 14, it’s already been released globally, hitting No. 1 in Germany and No. 2 in Switzerland.

The first set of U.S. dates in support of Diversity are West Coast shows where Gentleman opens for SOJA – San Francisco’s Fillmore March 7; Santa Cruz, Calif., at the Catalyst March 8; West Hollywood’s House Of Blues March 10 and San Diego’s House Of Blues March 11. Gentleman also has a couple of non-SOJA dates on the other side of the continent – New York City at Le Poisson Rouge March 13 and Falls Church, Va., at State Theatre March 14.

Gentleman heads to Central and South America after the U.S. run with an itinerary that includes Panama City at the Figali Convention Center March 16; Caracas, Venezuela, at Teatro Bar March 20; Buenos Aires, Argentina, at Teatro Colegiales March 28 and Santiago, Chile for Lollapalooza March 31.

More dates will be announced shortly. Check out Gentleman-Music.com for more information.
