Live Nation Wants ‘Band’ Suit Dismissed

Live Nation has denied involvement in an injury a man in New York says he suffered during a taping of “Making The Band” at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom in 2008.

Kevin Faraday recently filed suit alleging he was hit in the stomach with a microphone and his filing points the finger at everyone from Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and his Bad Boy companies to MTV, Live Nation, Danity Kane and The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity.

Faraday seeks unspecified damages. LN claims that if there really was an injury and it was not Faraday’s own fault, that Diddy and MTV failed to live up to their obligations during the event.

The company has asked that the suit be dismissed.
