Cancer Bats Announce Pentagram Tour

The Cancer Bats will play six shows at five London venues over the course of one day in April to mark the release of the hardcore punk band’s new album.

The gigs are called the Pentagram Tour. If you connect the five venues on the map of London on the band’s tour poster the locations will make up a five-pointed star.

The poster notes that the performances are release shows in support of the Cancer Bats’ fourth studio album, Dead Set On Living. According to a video on the band’s website, the album is due out in April. A specific release date isn’t given.

The tour takes place April 21 starting with a 11:30 a.m. show at the Old Blue Last. The Toronto-based group then moves on to a 2 p.m. gig at Notting Hill Arts Centre, followed by a 4:30 p.m. performance at Upstairs At The Garage. Next up is a 7 p.m. show at Brixton Windmill followed by a 9:30 p.m. gig at Camden Barfly. The Cancer Bats end the night where the day began with a 12 a.m. show at The Old Blue Last.

Earlier today the Cancer Bats updated its Facebook page to alert fans that three out of the six gigs had already sold out. The band added that fans should check a number of different online retailers “as one may have more tickets than the other.” Another update to the Facebook page announced that more tickets had been made available for all six of the shows.
