Keith Richards Has Undergone Eye Surgery

Keith Richards is starting the new year with some spiffed up peepers after recently undergoing laser eye surgery. 

The Rolling Stones guitarist, who turned 68 in December, had the surgery at a London clinic before Christmas “to correct his failing vision,” according to the Daily Mirror.

An alleged friend of Richards told the British tabloid that the rocker sported an eye patch after the procedure, which only took about 15 minutes. Now Richards won’t need to wear glasses.

A spokeswoman for Richards confirmed that he had undergone the surgery, telling Reuters that he is “doing very well.”
