DMX was performing at the Café Sevilla in Long Beach, Calif., last night when someone jumped on stage and put his hands around the artist’s throat., according to celeb gossip site TMZ.

But security reacted immediately and put the guy in a chokehold before hustling him off the stage.

And DMX? Although the DJ stopped playing music, the rapper told him to get back to work, saying, “We don’t stop the music for s**t!”
