More U.S. Gigs For Rise Against
The new dates begin April 15 at San Diego’s Viejas Arena, followed by a few more California gigs at Bakersfield’s Rabobank Arena April 16 and San Jose State University April 17.
The punk rock band then heads north to play Kent, Wash., at ShoWare Center April 19. Additional stops include Boise, Idaho (April 20); Salt Lake City (April 21); Rio Rancho, N.M. (April 23); Pelham, Ala. (April 26); Tampa, Fla. (April 30); Atlanta (May 1); Indianapolis (May 4); and Syracuse, N.Y. (May 8).
The last show on the routing is May 10 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
The previously announced first leg of the tour is booked Jan. 17 through Feb. 5.
A Day To Remember supports all U.S. spring 2012 dates, with the exception of the Jan. 19 show in New Orleans. The Menzingers provide additional support for the first leg of shows and Title Fight will join the second leg of the tour. Glassjaw will also open the Feb. 3 show in Uniondale, N.Y.
Rise Against is touring in support of its sixth album, Endgame, which was released last year on DGC/Interscope. Fans can also hear from the band on Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International. The album, which features Rise Against’s version of “Ballad Of Hollis Brown,” is due out Jan. 24.
A fan club presale begins Tuesday at 3 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday. The San Diego and Pittsburgh shows, as well as the first leg of the tour, are already on sale.
