The Australian-born pop singer is busy working on his full-length debut album. In September he released his second EP, Coast To Coast, on Atlantic and Warner Records, which entered the Nielsen SoundScan chart at No. 12. The EP includes the hit single “On My Mind,” which has been featured on pop radio outlets nationwide and hit No. 1 on Radio Disney.

The video for “On My Mind” has racked up more than 11.8 million views.

The new dates on Simpson’s “Welcome To Paradise Tour” begin with a Feb. 14 show at Chicago’s House Of Blues, followed by a Feb. 16 gig at Milwaukee’s Rave Eagles Club, and a Feb. 17 show in Cincinnati at Bogart’s.

Additional new stops include Indianapolis’s Egyptian Room Feb. 18; Silver Spring, Md., at The Fillmore Feb. 20; Norfolk, Va., at NorVa Feb. 21; Atlanta’s Center Stage Feb. 23; Tampa, Fla., at The Ritz Ybor Feb. 24; and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at Revolution Feb. 25. The last gig on the itinerary is Feb. 26 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., at House Of Blues.

Previously announced U.S. and Canadian shows are booked Feb. 2-12. More dates will be announced.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public beginning Friday.
