Royal Treatment For Evancho

During her Japan tour, which included concerts with two different Japanese orchestras the second week of January, 11-year-old American soprano Jackie Evancho was invited to sing for the Japanese royal family.

Before leaving on tour, Evancho tweeted, “Got invite to sing for emperor and empress, prince and princess and royal family in Japan. Tremendous honor. So excited.”
