Fans Angry Over Refund

Another local promoter involved in Asian artist concerts has found itself in trouble with the law.

Starlight Management Indonesia was slated to bring the Korean rock band CN Blue to Jakarta, but apparently “could not deliver” because it failed to sell at least 80 percent of the available tickets as stipulated in the contract, according to the Jakarta Post.

Starlight then reportedly told people who had already purchased ticket they would get a refund. Apparently, that didn’t happen.

“Dozens of Indonesian fans” reported to the police that Starlight has yet to return their money. These fans say the address the promoter provided for retrieving the refund was bogus. Ticket prices ranged from Rp638,000 ($70) to Rp4,015,000 ($439).
