Wanee Reveals Lineup

The annual Florida festival hosted by The Allman Brothers Band lays down a lineup featuring Bruce Hornsby, Furthur, Gov’t Mule and more.

Although the 2012 Wanee Music Festival scheduled for April 19-21 at Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fla., has yet to announce daily lineups, organizers have released a list that’s sure to motivate fans when ticket sales begin this weekend.

Despite the lack of a daily lineup, one thing is for sure – The Allman Brothers Band will perform April 20 & 21.

Along with the acts mentioned above, this year’s Wanee has booked Mickey Hart Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Buddy Guy, Electric Hot Tuna, Ray Manzarek and Roy Rogers Band, Leftover Salmon, North Mississippi Allstars, Trigger Hippy (feat. Joan Osborne, Jackie Greene, Steve Gorman, Audley Freed and Nick Govrik); Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio, SOJA, Conspirator, Eota, Particle, Zach Deputy, Matt Schofield, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Charles Bradley, Bonerama, The Yeti Trio, Jacob Jeffries Band and Bonnie Blue.

Tickets go on sale Friday, including three-day general admission tix that include three nights of “primitive camping” for $189.50 (plus applicable fees). VIP tickets priced at $425 (plus applicable fees) include perks such as a private viewing area, private restrooms, drink specials, a Wanee 2011 VIP shirt, commemorative poster and lunch and dinner catering.
