A Magikal Death Cab Tour

Death Cab For Cutie is bringing members of San Francisco’s Magik Magik Orchestra on the road with the indie rock band for a North American spring tour featuring stops at intimate venues and historic theaters.

The Magik Magik Orchestra, which describes itself on its Facebook page as “a collective of players who perform live onstage and in the recording studio to produce unique artistic projects,” provided the string arrangements on Death Cab’s most recent album, Codes And Keys. The group also worked with Ben Gibbard and the gang on their recent installment of “VH1 Storytellers” in addition to previous collaborations with artists including Mike Patton, John Vanderslice, The Walkmen and The Dodos.
