2011 YE Charts
A ghost in the machine, somewhere between here and there on the Internet, resulted in some data not being processed in time for our Year End Charts.
The most significant change is for the Vans Warped Tour that we very conservatively estimated at $7.5 million in gross sales based on the minimal hard data Pollstar collected during the summer.
As it turns out, once we received the complete tour details, Warped should have been listed at $14.5 million and that would have ranked the tour at No. 63 in North America. The Rockstar Mayhem tour with
When it comes to our Worldwide Ticket Sales Charts it’s important to remember that these are market snapshots in time. It is not unusual for promoters and venues to realize they didn’t report all their shows after the charts are published.

For the quarterly YTD charts, the late-arriving data is added into the totals and are reflected in the next quarter’s cume rankings for the year. We have found from experience that we will be adding thousands of additional box office reports from 2011 in the coming months that would have altered many YE rankings. We do not reissue these charts as the totals and rankings would be constantly changing.
The 2012 Q1 charts offer everyone a fresh start and will be published on or about April 4.
