Paisley is bringing his “Virtual Reality Tour” to Wrigley June 9. Also appearing will be special guest Miranda Lambert along with Chris Young, The Band Perry and Jerrod Niemann.

The June 9 gig means plenty of work for Wrigley staffers. That’s because Paisley is appearing one day after Roger Waters performs The Wall at the ballpark.

With Paisley about to become the second country music artist to headline Wrigley, that brings up the question as to the identity of the first country music act to play the stadium. Do you know?

Time’s up!

Regardless of musical genres, not many acts have played Wrigley. The stadium hosted Paul McCartney for two nights last summer. Other past headliners include Jimmy Buffett (2005), The Police (2007), Elton John / Billy Joel (2009) and Dave Matthews Band (2010).

And the first country act to play Wrigley Field? That would be Rascal Flatts back on July 18, 2009.

Tickets for Paisley’s Wrigley Field show go on sale Jan. 27. Visit BradPaisley.com for more info.
