Florence + The Machine Spring Dates

Florence Welch and her trusty machine are taking over the globe during the next several months with a new 15-city U.S. tour along with previously announced dates in South America, Europe and Australia.

Touring in support of its 2011 sophomore studio album, Ceremonials, the English indie pop band kicks off its 2012 schedule Tuesday in San Paulo, Brazil, at Arena Anhembi. Two more shows are booked in Brazil Jan. 25 and Jan. 28, followed by a gig in Tokyo Feb. 1. 

The European shows take place March 2 through April 1. After nearly a dozen stops in Ireland and the U.K., Florence + The Machine play Germany, France, Belgium and Netherlands.

The U.S. tour begins April 14 at the Santa Barbara Bowl in California and features previously announced appearances at Coachella (April 15 and April 22) and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (May 3).

The route includes Reno, Nev., at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino April 17; Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre April 20; Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan April 21; Minneapolis at the Hennepin April 27; St. Louis’ Peabody Opera House April 29; Dallas’ Palladium Ballroom May 1; and NYC’s Radio City Music Hall May 8.

The last show of the U.S. tour is May 12 in Atlantic City, N.J., at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa. After that, Florence + The Machine play Australia and New Zealand May 17-28.

Tickets for the U.S. headline shows go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local venue time. Although both weekends of Coachella are sold out, tickets are still available to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
