IAVM Structure Changes

The International Association of Venue Managers has divided its organizational structure into three lines of service – education, sales / business development and operations / finance – to better respond to the current economic climate and meet member needs.

Under the new structure, Rodney Williams has been promoted to vice president of education, Roy Benear has been hired as VP of sales and business development and Steve Flamm will continue to oversee operations and finance.

While Williams and Flamm have been with IAVM for some time, Benear joins the organization from the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau, where he served as Sr. VP for sales, services and market development.
