L’Arc-en-Ciel has sold more than 40 million records.
Formed in 1991 in Osaka, the band has gone through a few personnel changes over the years.
The group’s first world tour was in 2004, during which the only U.S. stop was in Baltimore for a crowd of 10,000. They returned from a three-year hiatus last April in order to play two sold-out benefit shows for tsunami relief.
The world tour also includes stops in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, Taipei, London and Paris.
