The Cranberries: ‘Roses’ & Shows

The Cranberries have been making the rounds to “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” ABC’s “The View” and NPR News’ office. Next the band is headed to Australia followed by the band’s first U.S. and Canada tour since 2009.

The Irish rock group is promoting the group’s sixth studio album, Roses, which is due out Feb. 27. The album is The Cranberries’ first release since the band’s 2003 hiatus and 2009 reunion. The group’s most recent album is 2001’s Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.

After taking six years apart, The Cranberries reunited for a brief acoustic performance to celebrate vocalist Dolores O’Riordan’s honoree degree at Dublin’s Trinity College in January 2009.

“The minute we started playing, it felt like we’d never stopped,” O’Riordan said. “There’s something about playing with The Cranberries. It’s like putting on a perfect pair of shoes. It just fits.”

Since then the band has played reunion shows in North and South America, Asia and Europe.
