Chicago + The Doobie Brothers

Get ready for a double dose of classic rock. Chicago and the Doobie Brothers are going on tour together this summer.

The co-headline tour will feature individual sets from each band followed by a grand finale encore with both groups sharing the stage and playing each other’s hit tunes.

Chicago is once again teaming up with the American Cancer Society for the “Sing With Chicago” promotion, marking the third consecutive year “the rock ’n’ roll band with horns” has offered fans this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Fans in every market can bid on a package that includes a meet-and-greet, two premium tickets and a chance to sing Chicago’s classic tune “If You Leave Me Now” in concert with the band. Over the years the promotion has raised over $130,000 to fight breast cancer. Proceeds are raised in honor of the band’s friend Paqui Kelly, a breast cancer survivor and the wife of Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly.

The tour begins July 11 in Tucson, Ariz., at the Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheatre.

Stops include Universal City, Calif. (July 15); Morrison, Colo. (July 17); Dallas (July 21); Atlanta (July 24); Cincinnati (July 29); Atlantic City (Aug. 4); Wantagh, N.Y. (Aug. 18); and Virginia Beach, Va. (Aug 23).

The last date on the schedule is Aug. 24 in Scranton, Pa., at the Toyota Pavilion At Montage Mountain.
