Presented by AC Entertainment and set for July 13-15 at Waterfront Park, Forecastle Festival announced in January that hometown band My Morning Jacket would not only headline Saturday night but would help producers curate the festival.

While not revealing the entire 70-plus band lineup, Forecastle has announced an extremely long list of bands scheduled to play the July weekend, naming names like Dr. Dog, Deer Tick, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Fruit Bats, Daedelus, Beats Antique, The Head And The Heart, Mike Doughty, Floating Action, Zion I, Rachel Grimes and Ben Sollee.

“We are super-duper excited to announce and be a part of the spectacular lineup for the 10th anniversary of Forecastle in our hometown,” My Morning Jacket’s Jim James said. “Be on the lookout for further announcements and some special surprises. It’s gonna be a sweet time … Christmas in July!”

Single-day GA and VIP tickets go on sale March 2 at noon EST. A limited amount of GA single-day tickets priced at $49.50 (plus applicable fees) will also be available. Once they’re gone, the price goes up to Level 2.

Meanwhile, three-day weekend and VIP passes are currently available as are two and three-day travel packages. Fifty cents of every purchase will be donated to the Forecastle Foundation, the festival’s non-profit organization dedicated to environmental issues. For more information, visit ForecastleFest.com.
