Candlebox On The Road Again

The Seattle-based band climbs aboard the tour bus for a journey beginning in Florida.

It may seem like ancient history for some, but there was a time when Candlebox was hailed as the first successful band signed to Madonna’s Maverick Records. These days the band records for AudioNest/Fontana.

Candlebox will be supporting its latest studio album – Love Stories & Other Musings – landing in stores April 3. Produced by Ken Andrews (Pete Yorn, A Perfect Circle, Tenacious D, Beck), the album includes nine new songs along with five bonus tracks, including re-recordings of “Far Behind” and “Cover Me.”

Releasing details for the first leg of its upcoming tour, Candlebox sets things in motion beginning in Pensacola, Fla., at Captain Fun April 7. Other destinations include Atlanta at 37 Main April 11; Charleston, S.C., at the Music Farm April 17; Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at Culture Room April 19; Winston-Salem, N.C., at Ziggy’s April 24; New York City’s Gramercy Theatre May 3; Asbury Park, N.J., at the Stone Pony May 5; Flint, Mich., at the Machine Shop May 12; and Detroit at the Emerald Theater May 19.
