The tour comes to you from the environmentally minded folks at Reverb, founded by environmentalist Lauren Sullivan and her husband Adam Gardner from Guster.

Of course, it the music that lures folks through those turnstiles. Along with J. Cole, who is touring in support of his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, special guest Big K.R.I.T. will perform. Plus, there will be more music during the day with the Reverb Eco-Village presenting singer/songwriter Pete Kilpatrick along with free ice cream, games and prizes.

The journey begins in Kingston, R.I., at the University Of Rhode Island April 11. Other stops include Champaign, Ill., at the University Of Illinois April 17; Springfield, Mo., at Drury University April 23; Cedar Falls, Iowa, at the University Of Northern Iowa April 24 and Durham, N.H., at the University Of New Hampshire May 3.

But Reverb can’t do it alone. Helping the organization will be Ben & Jerry’s. In addition to handing out free ice cream, B&J will also be stirring things up with the company’s “Get The Dough Out Of Politics” campaign.

Also onboard for the tour is the Brita FilterForGood Music Project, which will provide complimentary Nalgene bottles for students to use when filling up on filtered water at Brita Hydration Stations. HeadCount will handle the mechanics of turning one and all into registered voters.
