A Bunch Of Garbage Dates

Garbage has scheduled nearly a dozen dates in the Western U.S., as well as Texas, in April as part of the band’s first tour since 2005.

The alternative rock band is taking pre-orders for its fifth studio album, Not Your Kind Of People. Available in both standard and deluxe editions, the album is Garbage’s first studio effort since 2005’s Bleed Like Me.

The U.S. tour begins with two previously announced, sold-out dates at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre April 9-10. Next is an April 14 show in Las Vegas at the Pearl Concert Theater.

Stops on the routing include Tucson, Ariz. (April 16); Tempe, Ariz. (April 17); Houston (April 20); Austin, Texas (April 21); Aspen, Colo. (April 24); Denver (April 25) and Salt Lake City (April 27).

On April 22 Garbage will play KDGE 102.1 EdgeFest in Frisco, Texas, at the FC Dallas Stadium.

A previously announced European tour is booked May 9 through July 19 with plenty of festival appearances in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Belgium, Romania, Spain and Portugal.

Tickets for the U.S. dates go on sale beginning this Friday, March 9. Denver’s onsale is March 10.
