Hot Chip is filling up its summer calendar with new North American shows scheduled in July and September.

Here’s what the British electronic indie band’s July plans look like in the U.S. and Canada: Minneapolis at First Avenue July 13; Toronto’s Sound Academy July 15; Boston’s House Of Blues July 17; Brooklyn, N.Y., at Prospect Park Bandshell July 18; and Philadelphia’s Electric Factory July 21.

After playing several European festivals including Dockville Festival in Hamburg, Germany (Aug. 11), Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Ireland (Sept. 2) and Bestival in Isle Of Wight, United Kingdom (Sept. 6), Hot Chip returns to North America.

The new September dates are scheduled Sept. 11 in Oakland, Calif., at the Fox Theatre; Sept. 13 in Portland, Ore., at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom; Sept. 14 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre; Sept. 15 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at Commodore Ballroom; and Sept. 22 in Juarez, Mexico, at the Pepsi Center WTC. A previously announced Sept. 9 show is booked at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.

Hot Chip has also added three U.K. club gigs to its European tour – June 10 in Sheffield at The Leadmill, June 11 at Cambridge’ The Junction, and June 13 at London’s Heaven.

The new shows were announced a day after Hot Chip debuted a YouTube clip for “Flutes,” the first song heard from their upcoming album, In Our Heads. The band’s fifth studio effort is due out June 11 in the U.K. and June 12 in the U.S as the follow-up to 2010’s One Life Stand. Fans who pre-order the special edition of In Our Heads on vinyl via Dom Mart will receive a free download of “Flutes,” available immediately.

Sign up for the band’s mailing list for an exclusive window for buying tickets for the new dates or a chance to win a white label 12” of “Flutes.”

Tickets for select dates go on sale beginning March 20.
