KISS & Mötley Crüe: The Tour
Combining all the costumes, makeup, power chords, pyrotechnics and mayhem you’ve come to expect from KISS and Mötley Crüe, this could very well turn out to be the summer tour concert fans will talk about clear into 2013 and beyond.
Marking the first time the two bands have shared a stage since the Commodore 64 computer was unleashed upon an unsuspecting world; “The Tour” begins its sonic assault in Bristow, Va., near Washington, D.C., at Jiffy Lube Live July 20. Playing mostly outdoor venues stops include Atlanta at Aaron’s Amphitheater at Lakewood July 24; W. Palm Beach, Fla., at Cruzan Amphitheatre July 27; The Woodlands, Texas, at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Aug. 3; Concord, Calif., at the Sleep Train Pavilion Aug. 16; Clarkston, Mich., at the DTE Energy Music Theatre Sept. 5 and Holmdel, N.J., at the PNC Bank Arts Center Sept. 21. Last destination listed on the schedule is Hartford, Conn., at the Comcast Theater Sept. 23.
