UK Promoter Duped On Glambert Shows

A UK-based promotion company, Madison Universal, is suing a talent agency in California, Family Productions, which it claims said it would help arrange two Adam Lambert concerts on the cheap.

Family Productions promised to broker a deal to get Lambert to play a show in Ukraine and in Russia for a total of $80,000, according to TMZ.

Madison Universal claims it paid a 10 percent deposit of $8,000, waited for something to happen, and tried to get its money back.

Meanwhile, it contacted CAA, which reps Lambert, and was told the singer’s cost for Eastern Europe would be more along the lines of $500,000, according to TMZ. Madison is suing for unspecified damages in excess of $25,000.
