For this adventure Keane will be touring in support of the band’s new album, Strangeland, set to drop May 8 on Cherrytree/Interscope records. Recorded at Tim Rice-Oxley’s Sea Fog studio in South Downs, U.K., Strangerland is Keane’s first full length album since 2008’s Perfect Symmetry. The band released its Night Train EP in 2010.

Keane debuted the album’s first single – “Silenced By The Night” – during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” March 12.

The North American tour launches at Boston’s House Of Blues June 12. Stops include N. Bethesda, Md., at the Music Center At Strathmore June 14; New York City at the Beacon Theatre June 15; Montreal’s Olympia de Montreal June 18; Toronto at the Sound Academy June 19; Nashville at Marathon Music Works June 21; Chicago at the Vic Theatre June 22; Denver’s Paramount Theatre June 25; Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre June 29 and Oakland, Calif., at the Fox Theater June 30.
