Touring in support of her ninth studio album, How About I Be Me (And You Be You), Sinead O’Connor begins her road trip at Milwaukee’s Pabst Theatre May 12; plays Chicago’s Park West May 13 and then heads south to Charlottesville, Va., for a gig at the Jefferson Theater May 15. Other stops include Washington, D.C., at the Howard Theater May 16; New York City’s Beacon Theatre May 22; Boston at House Of Blues May 23; Montreal at Theatre Maisoneauve May 25; and Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall May 26. Two months later O’Connor will appear at the Calgary Folk Festival July 28.

What’s O’Connor been up to lately? That is, aside from making a new album? Announcements on her website reveal her doctor ordered her to cancel an appearance in Mexico because she was “suffering from severe exhaustion.” She has also joined the dating service PlentyOfFish.com.

The presale begins March 28 and the general on sale launches March 30. Visit SineadOConnor.com for more info.
