Taylor Swift Ends World Tour In Auckland

Taylor Swift finished off her 100-date Speak Now world tour in New Zealand, with three sellouts at Auckland’s 12,000-capacity Vector Arena.

She certainly endeared herself to the locals in what was her first visit to the country. She called New Zealand “the most beautiful place on earth” and paid tribute to 19-year-old fan Jess Hocking who died in Paris of an undiagnosed unknown heart condition.

She had earlier met the girl’s parents backstage, and also took time to meet a 13-year-old fan undergoing treatment for leukemia.

At the final show, she performed the encore in a jersey of the country’s All Blacks rugby team over her gown. After the concert she tweeted: “Tonight we ended a 13 month tour. It was a beautiful trip around the world and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. Thanks guys.”
