Baton Rouge Casino Topped Off

Pinnacle Entertainment’s L’Auberge Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel in Louisiana was ceremoniously finished March 23, with the final structural frame put on its 12-story hotel.

The casino portion was topped off in November. Construction of the $368 million hotel and casino began in May 2010.

The development will include an event center with concert seating for up to 1,600 and 2,500-capacity festival grounds. It will also include a 74,000-square-foot casino, 1,500 slots, a 206-room hotel with rooftop pool, three dining outlets and a casino bar with a view of the Mississippi.

“The topping off of the hotel is a highly anticipated construction milestone and demonstrates how much closer we are to our grand opening this summer,” GM Mickey Parenton said.

The grand opening is slated for Labor Day.
