All You Need Is More Duran Duran Dates

Duran Duran is plotting out its spring and summer schedule with shows in South America, Europe and the U.S.

The new gigs are part of the English rock band’s tour in support of their thirteenth studio album, All You Need Is Now. A digital version of the album was released in December 2010 and the physical edition hit stores in March 2011.

Duran Duran announced this week that the band is still confirming exact details for select dates on the tour. Because fans are getting pretty antsy the group revealed a number of cities on the route that have dates but don’t yet have venues.

Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa, Atlantic City, N.J.

We can tell you that, for now, the U.S. leg of the tour starts in Saratoga, Calif., with two shows Aug. 8-9. Additional U.S. shows that are still waiting for confirmed venues include Costa Mesa, Calif. (Aug. 11); Tuscon, Ariz. (Aug. 12); Atlanta (Aug. 19); Mashantucket, Conn. (Aug. 24); Atlantic City, N.J. (Aug. 25) and Kettering, Ohio (Aug. 28).

The U.S. cities with both dates and exact locations are Catoosa, Okla., at The Joint at Hard Rock Casino Aug. 15; Memphis, Tenn., at Memphis Botanic Garden Aug. 17; Biloxi, Miss., at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Aug. 18; and Durham, N.C., at the Durham Performing Arts Center Aug. 21. Duran Duran play the Ravinia Festival Aug. 29 in Highland Park, Ill., at the Ravinia Festival At Ravinia Park.

South American dates are scheduled April 28 through May 8. European gigs are booked June 25 through July 27.

Here’s what the U.S. ticket onsale information looks like so far. Durham is on sale now. Biloxi goes on sale April 6, Memphis is April 20, Ravinia Festival is April 26,  and Catoosa is June 28.
