Lonely Hearts Gigs For Marina And The Diamonds
Marina And The Diamonds will be extra busy in July and August thanks to new North American headline shows scheduled around the Welsh singer/songwriter’s support dates with Coldplay.
The “Lonely Hearts Club” headline tour begins July 10 at Los Angeles’ The Fonda. Additional West Coast dates include San Francisco’s The Fillmore July 11; Portland, Ore., at the Aladdin Theater July 13; and Seattle’s Showbox At The Market July 14. After heading a bit further north to play Vancouver (July 15), Marina has shows in Denver (July 18) and Chicago (July 21).

The 26-year-old, who was born Marina Lambrini Diamandis, and her backing band accompany Coldplay on U.S. and Canadian gigs scheduled July 23 through Aug. 11.
The headline tour picks back up Aug. 14 in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club, followed by stops in New York City (Aug. 16) and Philadelphia (Aug. 17).
Marina And The Diamonds’ sophomore album, Electra Heart, is due out July 17. The release features collaborations with Dr. Luke, Rick Nowels, Liam Howe, Greg Kurstin and Diplo.
