Whole Bunch Of Wilco Shows

Wilco has filled out its summer schedule with new U.S. dates booked before and after appearances at Forecastle Festival and XPoNential Music Festival.

The alternative rock band is touring in support of its eighth studio effort, 2011’s The Whole Love. The release is the first album on the band’s own label dBpm.

Last week Wilco announced it was playing two nights in Morrison, Colo., at Red Rocks Amphitheatre June 22-23 as well as a July 8 gig in Geneva, Ill., at the Fifth Third Band Ballpark. The band takes the stage at Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Ky., at Louisville Waterfront Park July 15 and XPoNential Music Festival in Camden, N.J., at Susquehanna Bank Center July 21.

Now Jeff Tweedy and the guys have a dozen more U.S. shows for fans to choose from.

The Sioux City date is a free show as part of the 2012 Saturday In The Park festival. Tickets for the North Adams show will be available via a “name-your-price” auction and lottery system beginning April 13 at MassMoca.org. Salt Lake City’s presale begins April 18. Presales for the rest of the new dates begin April 11. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning April 13.
