Ex Sues Randy Travis

Elizabeth Travis, ex-wife and longtime manager of Randy Travis, is suing the country singer for breach of the duo’s post-divorce management contract.

Elizabeth Travis signed a management contract with Randy five months after their 2010 divorce, according to documents obtained by the Nashville Business Journal. In those documents, Elizabeth alleges Randy “intentionally interfered with” the ability to do her job and undermined the effectiveness of his career.

She also alleges his attorneys terminated the contract without written notice.

Furthermore, Randy “had a large truck, an armed guard and several other men” arrive at her Nashville office and hauled off “practically all of the property and business records” including computers and record plaques, the lawsuit claims.

Travis is asking for a judgment in her favor but did not specify a dollar amount, according to the Journal.
