Buckingham, in an “intimate one-man show,” is promoting his latest album, Seeds We Sow, but his shows include Fleetwood Mac tunes and favorites from his solo catalog.

The last date on the books was Spokane, Wash., May 21. The new dates begin in Boston at Wilbur Theatre May 29, and include Providence; Hampton Beach, N.H.; Ithaca, N.Y.; Bethlehem, Pa.; Baltimore and more before the final announced date lands at Southern Theatre in Columbus, Ohio, June 16.

Playing the Big Apple, Buckingham will give New Yorkers two chances to see him when he headlines the B.B. King Blues Club June 4-5.

“As I’ve grown as an artist, I’ve gotten more and more in touch with my center, and that center is voice and guitar,” Buckingham said. “Over time it has become increasingly vital to express more with less; that is my touchstone now, and the embodiment of that philosophy is what will be largely represented in the new show.

“I’ve been thinking of doing this kind of tour for a while, and am quite excited to be doing something new, something outside my comfort zone.”
