Furthur Announces Fall 2012 Plans

Furthur’s psychedelic tour bus will stay on the road through the fall thanks to new dates booked in September and October.

This week the band wraps up its spring tour including two sets at Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Fla., April 20-21. Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and the rest of the gang have a brief run of summer gigs set for July 5-18.

The fall tour begins with three nights at the stunning, open-air Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., Sept. 21-23. The rest of the excursion is concentrated along the West Coast. Furthur plays Seattle’s WaMu Theater Sept. 25, followed by three nights in Troutdale, Ore., at McMenamins Edgefield Amphitheater Sept. 27-29.

California shows are booked at Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheatre Sept. 30, San Diego at SDSU Open Air Theatre Oct. 2; Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre Oct. 5-6 and the Santa Barbara Bowl Oct. 7. The tour also includes a stop in Las Vegas at The Joint Oct. 4.

A presale began today and runs through April 19 at 6 p.m. EST. Tickets go on sale to the general public April 20 at 10 a.m. local venue time.
